And it continues.
The thread I made (see earlier post) is now 3 pages, and counting. Meanwhile player02 seems to have launched a personal attack against me here
I've had worse. Let's see how soon he gets banned.
*playlist changed from Rozen Maiden OST to something more soothing, on Spin's request*

So cyber bullying .. prevails?
Spending a few days away from sGE forums cost me dearly.
When I went to the "Other" section of General Chat this afternoon, this is what I saw: a friend of mine, Kusa, being bullied by the other residents of GC.
Take a look here if you like. Look down the whole page, and read if you will, on how they bully her.
In the end I posted this, being fed-up:
It just saddens me that there are idiotic people like those who enjoy tormenting my dear friend like this. Is it a crime to be yourself? Is it wrong to have your endings in meow, etc etc
Sheesh.

I must say, TEP is the weirdest period of time spent in sch. As I'm in BSU with group 4A, when we're not calling people, we're doing data entry, data analysis, talking, eating, snacking, stoning, discussion that kills brain cells (cos its hard for us to agree on anything), slacking, sneaking off (esp certain people ..). And, getting ready for a presentation around 27 Mar, for our DBS client.
1 week plus, and I've come to realise .. I dunno, sort of hate this routine that I fall into invariably everyday. Lunch at 12pm, and the rest of the day rotting if we have nothing to do. haiz
And I hate the godforsaken rain! It rains everyday and we freeze everyday too.
Slacked off updating my blog cos I'm mostly tired when I reach home these days. Other than catching up on anime and manga, and watching movies online, otherwise I pretty much get bored.
Anyways, went with my parents to Changi Airport on Tues to fetch my sis home. We arrived early so we explored Terminal 3:
"Hanging Gardens of Babylon" in the background. And I love the ceiling (see below)
They had a kopitiam, and Candy Empire OMG. But the shops were sparse, and some weren't open yet. And, I saw Secret Recipe there too. Woots~ Terminal 3 is really spacious, but whether it can be better .. we'll see. And planning for T4 is already beginning, so I wonder if T3 will be able to develop into a nice terminal, or get overshadowed by the future T4.
This is what the outside of Crystal Jade Shanghai looks like. You can't miss its curves - the restaurant is just on top of the Departure sign board.
And by the time we reached home and was ready to settle down, it was 2 plus am already. Couldn't stay awake the next day and was late =x My sis got me a nice handmade scarf, coloured silver and black. My mum got a handbag while my dad got a shirt. As for my little bro, he got a nice wooden box, with a carved, lacquered dog on the cover. In the end they were so rushed, they only had 1.5 hrs to shop so my sis didn't buy much. I'm just glad she's home safe.

Makan
My day started at 8am, when I woke early to go with my parents to Sembawang Hill Food Centre @ Upper Thomson Road for breakfast. From Yishun MRT we took bus 169, passing by the Khatib and Nee Soon army camps along the way. Our target - kway chap at this stall which I had missed from my childhood days. Hadn't been there for 10 years.
Stomachs sated, we decided to walk around and explore the shops, and upon seeing this restaurant and perusing the menu, we agreed on coming back later for lunch.
According to mum IVINS is a pretty well known eatery that has been around for 10+ years, specializing in authentic Peranakan food. Since we were quite full from breakfast, we went on to Pierce Reservoir nearby to walk a bit.
Took these pictures while we were there:
We decided to go on the trail, which was quite a short one, and found this strange tree with little "apples" on it.
By the time we were done it was 11.30am already, and starting to feel hungry we walked back to IVINE. The food on the menu was quite affordable, about $4/5 per dish. We ordered ayam buah keluak (spicy chicken curry, the in-house favourite), honey pork, sotong sambal, hee peow soup (fish maw), otak otak pangang (spicy fishcake wrapped in banana leaf), nonya chap chye.
The honey pork, which was recommended by the waitress, lives up to expectations. Don't be fooled by its appearance, when fried with onions and peas this dish really hits the spot. Warm, juicy, succulent pork with that tinge of sweetness .. its oishi, sedap, SUBARASHI~~~~~ *floats*
Otak in its banana leaf wrapping. Its soft, melts-in-your mouth and is also very spicy
Chendol for dessert. They added gulah melaka so it was really sweet =x But the sweet aroma of coconut lends a strong flavour to this dessert.
The rest of the dishes were not bad, but the chap chye was too salty for me, and the sotong sambal could have been stir fried instead of gravy. Nevertheless, it was a great lunch we had.
Can't wait to go back there again. 20 out of 10 stars ^^

A flight~
Yesterday, my mum brought this home for me from the office: an Aboriginal necklace that her colleague had bought while in New Zealand.
While its simple, I like its design very much, and have started wearing it ^^
Oh, but more importantly .. today morning at 4am, my sister embarked on her 5D4N field trip to Cambodia with her class. For the past few days over the weekend, she had been packing, buying things that she needed. My mum and dad woke early at 2am to wake her up and send her to the airport. The noise they made woke me too, and I laughed when she came into the room twice before leaving the house to hug her bolster. Haha, I think she'd wished she could bring it lols. And I told her to come back safely. I hope she does.
Had I been apply to apply for leave I would have gone too .. as it is, they took a tour around the new Terminal 3, before having some coffee and coming home to sleep. Maybe when its time for my sis to come back I'll tag along and see for myself what T3 is like.
Work at BSU is fine, and we're all getting used to waking early, signing in and slacking until 9am. We're also used to calling people/data entry. But, what we haven't got used to is the freaking COLD of our project room and call centre. When my group went down for lunch break today, we were all shaking from the cold, brr.
I'm thinking of quitting GE .. lost the interest for it, haiz.

Icy cold fun~
Met the group at Jurong East, in the end the guys decided to fly kite so it was only me, my group (Saihah - aka organiser, Huiqi, Clara, Sihan), Wei Shan, Shermin, Jess, Grace, Bing Xi, Dao Li and Robin who turned up. Since there was a promotion for Thursday, we each paid $12 for 2 hrs of ice skating.
I fell once, sustained blisters, and pretty much sticked to the side of the rink and slowly made my way around. It was only til the last 30 mins that I could skate without having to hold on to the side so short intervals. There were some pro skaters who made me jealous of the way they zoomed around so gracefully .. of course, there were little kids who were taking lessons from the instructors as well; it was fun to watch them.
After that, we stopped at 4pm and went to Pizza Hut for our lunch-cum-dinner. I got the Pizza Set Meal with a drink and soup (I chose Hawaiian):
Stella arrived just when we were finishing our meal. And the bill came up to $9.50 for me, which was ok I guess. Falls, laughter, enjoyment of each others company .. that's how I would sum up today's outing. But, we all had fun, which was most important, and yeah I throughly enjoyed ice skating. Its fun enough for me to want to go for another session again, if there's a chance ^^
Will upload more pics when I get them.
That's all for now ^^

Exams .. over!
3 papers are all done ^^
Compared to last time 5 papers .. this time I slacked off on the last paper but ah well, guess I'm becoming accustomed to exams =x I think I put in my best effort for Econs and SENGP, hopefully my grades will be ok.
And tomorrow, our class is going ice skating @ Jurong East .. kind of like a get-together since we will all be splitting for TEP, IPP, some going Beijing, others studying first ... so it will be a long time before we will see each other again.
Myself, on 3rd March I have a TEP briefing at 8am
No holidays anyway. And I'm still waiting for updates on these anime: Saiunkoku Monogatari II, Bleach, Naruto, Rosario + Vampire.
Hoping there will be season 3 for Rozen Maiden: Traumend. Meanwhile, I'm watching Ah! My Goddess and Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan.
Ta for now.
I feel like I'm drifting further and further away from him ..

I love mods
There was a guy on sGE forums today, anti_bot hacker who apparently posted details (at 10.54am) from HR's private forum about their stance against botting, and some more proudly said that he spent 5 hrs to hack into it. I went to alert Sam about the thread:
http://forum.iahgames.com/ge/showthread.php?t=31195
and when I got back to Gen Disc section, voila, thread gone, and apparently TS also banned or something, cos couldn't find him in member list. Too bad I didn't screenshot.
LOL, and that infamous Irysfied use the post and make a long bolded list zz .. effort wasted haha
I think Hrin must have done it ^^ Goooo mods!
Edit: Ok, thread is still there but Hrin made TS edit his first post. But my post got quote him saying that:
I'm only waiting for certain pple in forum to get banned ...

Viva la anime~
While mugging for exams, I fell in love with anime. Yes, and many series too!
First, Saiunkoku Monogatari, now in its 2nd series.
Next, Rosario To Vampire. I only like the ending song:
And lastly but not forgetting Harunkanaru Toki no Nakade Hachiyosho, but couldn't find the video, ah well.
Of course, I'm still watching Rozen Maiden, Bleach, Naruto Shippuden as well, so that makes .. 6 animes at a go whoo~
Ganbatte!!
p.s: I want Shunki's ring =)

2 songs, 1 video
1) 4 in the morning, by Gwen Stefani.
lyrics somehow struck a chord with me view lyrics here
2) Almost Here, by Delta Goodrem feat. Brian Mcfadden
A beautiful track I found. view lyrics here
lastly, a video. I think it's time we be honest with each other. Enough with words, if you still don't get my message we're through. I'm really tired.
Where will we go from here? It's your call.

New Year's over, exams incoming
So, as the weekend passes by, so does CNY ends. 4 days of non-top eating, visiting relatives .. I'm kind of tired of traditions. And routines, like visiting. All we do is chat, eat, watch tv and play card games. Makes me wonder if any of my cousins get bored of doing the same thing, no doubt once per year.
Found a nice little corner of Woodlands on Sun when we decided to go out. They cycled, I walked/jogged all the way to where RP is, and went in to the park. Curiously enough, its called Khatib Park tho the location is nowhere near Khatib.
Its a large, airy space just right outside RP's compound, a haven for skaters and cyclists. Was quite windy that day, and I composed this poem while watching the children play at the playground. Very short and untitled, but inspiration has been poor for me lately.
Unfettered by chains,
running in joy unbridled.
Unbothered by critiques,
playing with carefree feeling.
Such is innocence,
such are little children.

All our favourite tracks ..
<3 the video but <3 my boy more
Happy New Year everyone!

Ordeal over?
Finally, the blasted - depressing - stressful - idiotic - damnable ITIPJ is over.
A lot of sweat, blood and tears went into our presentation, which we did our best for. Scott and Lim were relatively ok .. up to our turn to present we were still debugging errors as much as possible. Its over now so I don't want to talk about it .. but, I just want to say that things may happen when you least expect them. And when they happen .. well nobody wanted to it but ah well, to my team: good one, all. And .. I don't know Kelvin as well as the rest of you do but maybe we should give him a treat or something? =x
First thing I did when I got home yesterday was to head for my bed. Of course my mum nagged me to have dinner first, but I was drained, not to mention hurting from my blisters (which still hurt despite the plaster). Was in a relatively bad mood last night, don't know why. Then when I woke at 9 plus pm over dinner my mum told me about an incident that happened to her yesterday while she was on her way home from the doctor's.
Apparently she had gone to Cold Storage to buy some muah chee (the ones in the packets) like this:
and had bought a little bag for us. Then she happened to pass by this store at the pasar malam near Woodlands MRT which was also selling muah chee from Taiwan, but the biscuit type and not the soft ones. When she went near, the ah pek (in his forties) and a young man (in his 20s with dyed hair) went to attend to her. The old man kept opening packets of muah chee for my mum to try out the flavours, saying "Yi nian yi chi, gan gan chi la, mei shi de. Lai, wo kai gei ni" (in Chinese, meaning that my mum was free to try his goods since this was a once a year thing (CNY) and that it was alright.) So, after trying out a few my mum decided to buy a little bag from them too. But who would have known the ah pek was trying to "kotok" my mum. Once she said she wanted to buy some, he immediately got a huge plastic bag and filled it by the armful with bags and bags of muah chee. My mum gaped at him, saying she didn't want so much. But the ah pek only repeated the same old line "yi nian yi chi" and when he was done weighing he told my mum, "Auntie, 2kg for $36 hor". Then my mum "huh" very loud, and all the other storekeepers nearby all looked at her cos this was early in the morning and she was the only customer around.
When my mum told him she didn't have enough, the ah pek asked to see how much she had in her wallet. When he saw that she had only $7 plus left, the ah pek said in Chinese "Auntie cannot be lar, your wallet so big how can so little money nia" then my mum said she only had this left since she had already bought a bag of muah chee from Cold Storage earlier. Then the ah pek said, "Aiya, Auntie, $20 I give you la, discount can la"The helper demanded to see what she bought, and brazenly OPENED MY MUM'S BAG OF MUAH CHEE AND ATE 2 PACKETS, giving the excuse that he wanted to sample what other stores were selling. While this was going on, the ah pek took the large bag he had filled up, and began pouring out (and I think deliberately) a lot of it til the only flavours left were the common ones like chest nut and red bean; and not the flavours my mum wanted to buy.
In the end he sold 400g of muah chee to my mum. When I finished hearing her story my mood turned worse. Wah lao .. this kind of uncle, want to scam people and some more so unreasonable de. Dirty business tactics sia wtf. Even though my mum says she think the uncle only trying to clear his stock fast. Must report to CASE *grumble*
I feel like going down to the pasar malam @ Causeway Pt and take his picture then post to Stomp sia. Hum chin peng.
After that, went on GE to bring my sis around. She direction sense still cannot make it, but at least I teach her how to read coordinate she can tell me her coor so I can find her lols. Level 13 liao not bad haha. And she happily report to me that she did a lot of quests liao and she knows how to use city guide to travel. T_T Then she tell me she want bellem boxes, I told her I supply the gold pieces but she camp at golden well for me, then split the boxes 30%/70%. Since she don't mind, then I said equips with good stats I will pass her, the rest I keep.
That was last night. This morning, I woke up in a better mood. Maybe cos my mum made pancakes whee~ At the moment in sch for my IB project meeting. Wanna go home early to play GE .. or sleep. See how ba~

My sore throat still bugs me persistently. Drinking more water helps nuts. And the late night cycle still continues.
Today was spent coding and doing report. CRM final lecture was so short. Not even half the cohort turned up and no-one said goodbye to Ms Cheng. Skipped my Econs revision lecture but I don't feel guilty. My grp mates, especially Jess and Grace and Shermin have sacrificed their sleep these past few days to do the compilation, coding, coordinating etc etc.
I wanna thank Jess for doing the payment part for me. Really didn't know how to validate the fields required, so sorry. And also Grace and Shermin, for their help.
10.21pm now, as I blog. The others I saw in school today are either on their way home or already home. After this week is over I think we all need to de-stress. And because of my whacked schedule lately I haven't talked to my hon, if at all. I miss him like crazy =x
But I'm also very proud of him for getting 8th place in the top 10 winners for this event.
Way to go hon~ I look forward to watching the video you made. ^^
P.S: Winston if you ka jiao my sis I will not forgive joo.

supa .. KO~
KO-ed by a few things.
Was rushing for my IB and ITIPJ during the weekends. But, my Payment page still doesn't work. So came back to school today and froze *insert body part* while doing my pages first in the lab and then moved to Disc Room 505 to continue.
And my hotmail seems to be bugged. Recipients don't get my email nor attachments =x So, have to resort to msn.
And I've sore throat since last Saturday when I ate too much muah chee (the Japanese ones in the little packets). Think I'm coming down with something. And I had Surf n Turf for lunch. Trust me to choose something fried to aggravate my throat =x
And I saw the girls in sch. Like, o_0 wat r dey doing o_0
Winston added to my headache while I was debugging. We were talking about my sis (who just started GE) and then moved on to sec sch subjects. And he had to go on and on about chemistry T_T My biggest nightmare next to VStudio. Bleh. What's so nice about chem anyway? Physics ftw!!
Chemistry is still my Achilles heel. The logic eludes me til today.
Look like its another "pia" session today. Noooo~

Having 3 presentations later on. SENGP at 12pm, Econs at 10am and CRM at 3pm.
My CRM group stayed back at school til about 9pm to finish the slides and report, sans the leader who couldn't have chosen a better time to fall sick. And who did not pick up calls. >.<
Rehearsing took us a while too .. and I managed to spare a bit of time for my ITIPJ. The images are still not appearing but everything else works fine.
Missed quite a few Econs project meetings .. if I could Kage Bunshin I would attend but ah well, as I've said it IS a drag.
Next week, other than ITIPJ presentation, we have Biz Com presentation too .. this time individual speech on charity. Ho hum.
Off to crash .. late nights are rather prevalent now huh. Or should I say mornings. Ciao.

All I will say for XML is ..
I know I will flunk the module. Nuff said.
For today ..
- MR down to exam paper.
- Waking up at 6am makes you a walking zombie trying to stay awake.
- The school seriously needs more plugs.
- We need portable chairs when stranded with no lab.
- Scored 75/100 for my Biz Com ICA2.
- Econs is getting to be a drag. I want the project over. Faster. And the exam too.
- I forgot how to delete things from database for ITIPJ.
- Someone bomb my school pls.
- Projects make people (mad/moody/upset/tired/irritated/stressed).
- And lastly, I need an organizer. Like, seriously.

Shopping! And my bro's b-day
Finished school at 2.30pm today, and we went down to Far East Plaza at Orchard and had our lunch at Cavaya Restaurant .. its just a normal eating place and not a real restaurant per se. Started on our mystery shopping at 4.40pm proper (we ended up shopping and browsing more) .. and it only took us around an hour to complete. The rest of the time was spent shopping. Regina and Huiqi got themselves a bag each at tomatoCan, while Faizah bought a grey dress for $10 at those roadside stores. Then we went into Zara, where I saw this lovely white top:
I wanted to get it but its so expensive! $60 omg .. then I tried another shirt on:
This is what the words say. Hon, you reading this? ^^
Got home at 7pm, just in time to go out with my family to Vista Point to have dinner to celebrate my little bro's b-day. We ordered Sambal Chicken, Buttered Sotong, Prawns with oatmeal, Sambal French Beans and Hotplate Toufu, and Lotus Soup. I swear me and my sister felt like mum who were 3 months pregnant. And when we came home we got a small cake for him:
Happy 10th b-day Ah di! Haha, sorry I didn't get you a prezzie :p
Ta for now.

updates
Wrapped things up at 8.30 om for that day.
Wed-Thurs:
Had my Biz Com mock interview. Updated my pic >>> Waited outside for my turn with the rest of my classmates, and mine was impromptu because right up to 10 mins before me I was still looking through my IB notes. Hmm .. I felt it was quite ok, Miss Anne didn't really ask too many hard qns, so the interview went smoothly for me. IB test later was .. eh, needless to say, I phailed. Moi gonna cry ..
Going out with my CRM group to Suntec City later for our project, Mystery Shopping. Woots ^^
Last night, I had to endure hours of lousy internet connection. Again. *haiz* One of these days I shall really sue Singtel. RAWR. Anyway, Dan got a bit tipsy from beer + rum while we were chatting on YIM. Then about 1 plus am, I went online and we talked a bit before going on webcam. Then I saw him on webcam .. omg .. I was like, kawaii~
Is it possible to fall more in love? lols

Black Angus RAID @ One Fullerton
Full details below. ^^
Pictures courtesy of Winston, our pro photographer. Siao declined to have his pic taken.
5.40pm saw me and Winston making our way to One Fullerton as the others were coming together in a group. By 6.30pm, the rest had arrived (John and Francis would arrive later):
Us at Black Angus. From right to left in a loop:
Valkrin (Eliza), Ophelilia (Michelle), JuzAngel (Jaslin), Viv (Adrian), Viv's GF (Vivian), Viv's sister (Fiona), Xen and his wife, ZmojaZz (Raymond)
The couples:
ZmojaZz and his wife, Ophelilia (Raymond and Michelle) Surprisingly she's glowingly beautiful, you wouldn't guess she'd just had her baby gal not too long ago
from right to left:
Viv, his sister and his gf (Adrian, Vivian and Fiona)
Xen and his wife, LaMonarque
We ordered the Wagon Wheel Combo Platter to start with, then different variants of fish and beef, with drinks and soup to top it off. (not gonna post pics of the steaks, they look the same to me) Eating, chatting, enjoying the atmosphere took up most of our time til 8.30pm, where we called for the bill (a whooping $491.50) and headed to Funan IT Mall's IAH Games cafe to play GE in their respective cars. Jaslin had to bring Purplestorm coz he wasn't familiar with the place.
About 8 more joined us at McDonald's eventually (playing GE was scrapped) for chit-chatting. Drinks was on moja! :D But I was full from my meal so I didn't drink anything:
From right to left, in a loop:
Valkrin (Eliza), Xen's wife, Xen, Granaldo (partially hidden), SoulFate, Ophelilia (Michelle), Viv's sister (Fiona), Viv's GF (Vivian), Viv (Adrian), madjerk, ZmojaZz (Raymond), JuzAngel (Jaslin), PurpleStorm (Wei Long)
The boys against the wall: (from right to left)
Guitoo (John), cyctoo (Francis), HouseOfLou (Gerald)
We wrapped things up around 10 pm plus, and went home. Fun and good! Wouldn't mind having another outing like this. ^^

Today was really .. draining.
Met up with Winston and Jaslin for lunch at 1.30pm, where they tried out Gecko's fares. We sat there talking about everything under the sun, then at 3 plus pm we decided to go visit Guitoo (Jon) at NCS, but got drenched on the way there coz it was pouring.
He came out to meet us and we sat at the cafeteria with our drinks (I got choc, Jas lemonade?) on him :D. Made a move at about 4 plus, and caught a cab to AMK Hub. Reached at 5pm, then we two gals went browsing for clothes, but didn't end up buying anything.
Then, a detour to The Spectacle Hut. The lady at the counter greeted us, and measured my eyes' degree. Only 500 plus in my right eye (tot it was higher? =x) and 300 plus for my left. She showed us a few brands of contact lenses and asked me which one I wanted. They were having a promotion, so a box of I-Shine (which I choose) cost $17 instead of $38. But, if I bought 2 boxes, she would teach me how to put them on and remove them for free.
Not having much choice, I took nearly 2 solid hours trying to wear a pair, then taking them out, and repeating the process. Once. I feel like I'm .. I dunno, hopeless? Or maybe useless .. Jaslin took/put her on with ease while I was blinking like mad whenever the lenses went near my eyes. Not to mention tearing. Bleh. Anyway, I met my mum with my bro on their way to the park when I was arriving home. To cut it short, I'm glad she didn't scream at me or anything. She just said that next time I wanted to do smth like that, I should let her know first.
Ending off with a pic:

Will be going with Winston to AMK Hub to get my contact lenses. But first, he wants lunch @ NYP lols. Let's see who gets mi lu first haha
Today's Customer Relationship Management Call Centre ICA was .. nerve wracking. To me at least, and I was the last person called. Ms Cheung's qns came hard and fast, the rest before me couldn't cope with it too. No wonder they said that all they could say was "sorry" repeatedly. Some of them did very well I think, she gave comments like, "I like your attitude" to Gerald XD and to Thomas she said that he would make a very good call centre staff in future.
As for me, she said I was calm (o_0), which was good. But, I had to speak up louder =x Kaka, gonna have to work on that.
Off to do my ITIPJ part of the report .. but before I leave, here's a few screenshots me and Dan took in-game today:
Currently using the second one for my wallpaper ^^
Ta for now.

I think ..
Its going to be a crazy 2 weeks. Crammed with projects, ICAs and tests. Actually it's already crazy.
But I think I can cope with it.
And I think ..
maybe I WILL get contact lenses. And try to get used to them. And wear them for Saturday.
And I think ..
I'm in love. I think. :D

Went cycling with my dad to have breakfast today, from our house all the way to Blk 123 Yishun Avenue 5. Been a long time since I last went out just with my dad.
Took us about 15 mins to reach, and we ordered kway chap. Snapped this quick pic when my dad was making his order:
We waited for like 20 mins before our food came. Considering I haven't eaten kway chap for years .. I was disappointed, to be honest. The pig innards didn't taste salty enough, and the soup wasn't that thick to be good tho the colour was dark. *sigh*
Some of my ongoing projects are about done halfway, which I think is good. Speaking of projects, I admit I'm pretty fed up with one of my group mates for my Econs project. We met up on last Sat, and it was agreed that they'd send their parts to me for compiling by Friday. When the day came, I got their parts except for one gal's. Heard from them she was not feeling well so I said we wouldn't meet up later for discussion on the skit, but it would be pushed to next Wed. And I even sent some materials to her to help her along with her part.
She had one WHOLE week to do hers. Even if she couldn't find some figures, she could at least sent the completed parts to me first. Even if she was not feeling well she could at least give some notice that she'd checked her email/hp. Nary a peep from her til today when I got sick of waiting and called her hp. No reply. Sent a sms, she said she was left with the graphs.
I'm really sick and tired of this. There's only so much I can spoon-feed you with figures and stuff, the rest is up to you to do ON YOUR OWN.
Just like the guides/links I post. Information that is already there, some bloody idiots cant be bothered to go and READ, worse still those who did read have to repeatedly answer their qns. Which is annoying beyond hell. So I don't see the point of doing anything anymore. My efforts is just wasted on a bunch of blockheads.
FED UP.

The Grinning Gecko's Surf and Turf (fish n chips with roasted chicken) for $4 with the drink ^^
And I took 6 hours to finish compiling the hard copy results of our survey for MR research. Wooo I got supa work satisfaction man. Or rather, satisfaction of a job done. :D

Our next fac outing's gonna be at Black Angus @ One Fullerton for dinner on 12 Jan ^^
Since got someone sponsoring me, my name's in the attendance list already hehe
I don't really care for beef, but I went to see their menu (no pics) and I've got my eye on:
i) Grilled jumbo prawns
ii) Seafood combo (Shiok ar!!)
iii) Breaded mushroom
iv) Big Mountain Chocolate Fudge Cake (sinfullll~)
they all sound yummy :D
and im suppossed to be the 'official' reporter for the event. So, I'll be taking pics of our VIPs, members, food etc etc and posting them on my blog and maybe on our faction forum too.
Sch-wise .. as usual, its hustle bustle once again as I adapt myself to the lessons of DOOOMMM, waking up early etc. These days I haven't the energy to do much =x But at least I've finished my part for my Mkt Research, and also Econs .. just chasing my other grp mates to send their ppt slides to me.
Ge-wise .. elem is soo fun :D Esp Elemental Strife. So cool, the effects. Now I'll just see if I can buy a vet musk or wiz to experiment with.
Ta for now.

Exclusive update :D
New photo on profile :D >>>
Was the first to arrive at Clarke Quay MRT, waited a bit for Jaslin(JuzAngel) and Ximen (TheCool) to reach, after that, we met up with i-forgot-his-name =x (Guailan) and headed to the Burger King nearby for dinner. Shortly after Winston (Spinelli) reached. I got BK chicken while they got BK Fish. Halfway through the meal, Jerry (Siao) came with his cousin and had dinner with us. We talked and ate til about 8pm, midway i-also-forgot-his-name =x AhPow and his gf Vee Vien made an appearance and then we started walking down to Lunar.
Since Hong (Shineforce) only reserved 2 tables for us, the 7 of us had to share, the ladies sitting and the guys standing. (but they asked me for my IC =x do I look below 18 T_T) So, for the 7 of us to get in without paying for the entrance fee, we had to order 2 premium bottles. Martell, with Coke and green tea as the mixers. Then the live band started performing at 9 plus, by that time people were already streaming into the pub. Susu (Emer), DeusAngelus and his gf, and Ximen's friends popped by. Raymond (ZmojaZz) our Faction Leader said he would come, but in the end didn't coz his baby girl was crying. o_0
Time flew by chatting, drinking, listening to the music, watching vidoes .. playing games .. then at 12am I left for home, and reached home about 1.30am.
Off to bed now, but here's some pics before I go (didn't manage to get pics of us, too dark inside)
top - my shoes ^^ bottom - a pic of me ^^

Big day ahead
Woke up this morning just to go for one hour of school. Beats me why I actually went at all, but I guess I can't risk anything happening to my attendance no?
Then when I came back I crashed til 1 plus pm and had my lunch.
But anyway, back to subject of going down to the pub. Me and my sis, well actually, my sis gave me suggestions on what to wear, colour coordination etc .. and we took an hour with me trying out my clothes, her clothes until she was satisfied. And she wanted me to tie my hair. All this at 12.30am. I'm pleased with the end result .. will take pics if I can tonight ^^
P.S: I think I can hire her as my fashion consultant. Hoho.
P.S.S: I need to do more sit ups. She says I've more baby fats on my tummy than her =x Wahhh

Have yet to do my part but it shouldn't take long
Oh yeah, and I'm going to Lunar @ Clarke Quay tomorrow for my faction outing. So excited :D
Gonna be drinking and have a count down ^^ Hope they don't order too expensive stuff =x

Updates
I ended up going down to KKH myself, since my mum thought I was enough to help her with stuff. Sitting around and waiting for the head doctor to come by and declare my sis discharged was what we did for most part of the afternoon. I swear I was super drowsy when finally at 5pm the doc came by, then my mum settled some admin stuff and we went home in a cab. And the air-conditioner in KKH is soooo cold.
Nothing much to talk about, 'cept my sis vomited again when she reached home. I do think there's some sort of virus that caused my sis to have the runs (she went in and out of the toilet 7 times while in KKH), not the medicine that they gave her to help loosen her bowels. In any case, she's fallen asleep and declined dinner, but we're still gonna be observing her .. and yeah, a diet change is in store for her.
Meanwhile VStudio corrupted my desktop. My bro says he can't get to the desktop at all, so I had to uninstall it in safe mode. *grumbles* Which means I'm gonna have to do all my VStudio related stuff in sch. Bah humbug ..
Tomorrow we're going down to the temple in Toa Payoh to pray for my sis's safe return from hospital .. I figure its half a day gone. Just as well, once I come back GE *should* be up. I hope.

6.40pm last night saw me and my dad leaving the house, since he didn't want to take his dinner first. Which was as well, because by the time we reached Novena, took bus 56 for 2 stops and then walked a ways up the road and reached the Children Tower of KKH, it was already 8pm. Which was the time their official visiting hours ended =x
When we went in the ward, and saw my sis sleeping .. it really hurts to see her being the one lying there. Then my mum filled us in on the day's events, basically they found out after x-ray that she had fiscal matter floating around, uncleared. So she's warded for further observation.
Patients there are really .. pampered. Every 2 hours, the nurses will come in with a check-list of food you can order for breakfast/lunch/tea/dinner/supper, and then bring it in to you after noting down what you ate. Bells are located conveniently so you can call the nurses when you need to. Guess what my sis ordered? Fish fingers. And she's getting chicken chop for lunch today. o_0 Then somewhere along the way she woke up, and then we all had a nice long chat .. although she was most concerned about her handphone. I think she was starting to get bored to death there. According to my mum 3 friends rang her up so she narrated her story thrice in full detail to the 3 of them lols
And since my sis was warded, the only meals my mum had were the bread they served as snacks .. so by the time we went there, it was the 8th piece. I think my mum can slim down if this keeps up for another day XD. My sis showed me a plaster on her left hand, saying it was there because when they tried to poke into her veins they couldn't find any blood (after causing a few holes). Then they inserted one long, eeky needle into her right vein which she says hurts like nuts. And she told me when she first arrived at the hospital, her blood pressure was 46, when sitting/standing up it was only 80 plus, but when lying down it was 100 plus which was considered normal. o_0
When I handed her the dino soft-toy I brought from home so she wouldn't be lonely, she grinned. Maybe it was a childish gesture on my part but ah well. Later at 12.30pm me and my lil bro are gonna meet my grandma at Yishun so we can all go down to visit, then I'll take over my mum while she goes home for a nap, and come back with my dad. Mum just called to say my sis's tests results were good, so she might be discharged early and we might not need to visit. We'll see how things go.

1.30pm.
Her x ray results are out - fishbone's been cleared. She's just seen the ENT doctor (for throat) and they're feeding her through a drip. Meanwhile she's lying in bed sleeping because she'll feel giddy whenever she stands/sits up.
Change of plans - we're all going down to visit her, but after dinner. And maybe I'll have to take over my mum for "watch duty" from night til morning.
Prepared myself for no internet =x
Hopefully she'll only be in the B1 ward for 2 days, and then come home. But now we're waiting for other test results to come in.
Told her bf about it. He's really a nice, sweet guy, what with all the caring smses. Heck I'm jealous lol. But then I thought he should be informed since my mum isn't letting my sis touch her handphone at all =x Haven't had the chance to tell my sis Aaron knows already .. haiz.
I've promised him to update whenever possible.
P.S: Someone tell me I'm dreaming pls.
P.S.S: GE will undergo 2.5 days of maintainence for the new 2.4 patch til Thurs 12pm. Hooray.

9.45am.
Mum just smsed me to say my sis has been warded, but she's having a fever now and her blood pressure is low, and they're going for her x-ray.
I can visit her after lunch. My brother's gonna stay at home with the maid.
By the powers that be, I hope they watch over my sis.
I don't want to think of what will happen if anything goes wrong.

Is this for real?
6.40 am, and I'm woken by sounds coming from the living room. Nothing unusual, but when I go outside, my sister is lying on the sofa, face grey. When I try to talk to her she can barely make a peep. Then my mum says something about the hospital and dials 995, then gives the address for an ambulance to come asap.
Still disoriented, I ask my maid what's going on. She said "(Hui)Yuan shake on floor, ming". Convulsions I think. Then I recall that last night my sis told me about the fishbone she swallowed, and how she still felt chest pains after vomiting a bit. Mum comes over and gets me to get my sis's stuff and to get changed - she wants me to accompany her to hospital.
Then the SCDF people arrive, take my sis's blood pressure and stuff, then after asking a few qns about my sister's medical history, about what happened, they said everything's fine but if my mum wants, they can take her to hospital for check-up. Then she decided on KK Hospital, but the SCDF people tell us that only one can accompany my sis on the ambulance. So I'm left to watch them as they strap my sis in a chair and wheel her out of the house, followed by my mum.
Its only 5 mins after they leave, that it hits me: my sis, strapped to a chair, is en route to hospital for a check-up. Of course I don't want this to be real but it's happening. This is an early morning nightmare for me. Crap for all things to happen.
So here I sit in the study room, blogging with an upset stomach. Forgot I hadn't had breakfast =x I hope nothing big happens to my sis. Will be posting updates when I get them.

Movie outing
Been a while since the last time I caught a movie. Met up with Gerald to pass him the cd on Wed, then yesterday me, Ximen, Juz and Tunes went to watch the 8.55pm showing for Warlords At Golden Village @ Jurong Point.
The minute the movie started, there was nary a dull moment. Each scene was action packed, and the music was good, but some parts reminded me of POTC. Plot wise .. I liked it. Takeshi was useless, Andy Lau rocked. Won't say more about the movie .. 6/5 stars ^^
Go see! You're nuts to miss it.

My cd-rom drive's back in business!!! Woot!!
Luke passed me the disc for the client today .. and then I went home to try to fix the problem myself after dinner .. all it took was a 3 mins search on yahoo for the solution T_T And to think I suffered a missing disk drive for 1 month ..
This is what I did (even my drive and icon were missing)
*I feel like a goondoo kiwi bird for my stupidity*
Anyway, installing GE now. Ahhh I'm so happy :D

Articles for thought
2 articles today in Lifestyle, Sunday Times caught my eye. One was this article from the New York Times which was featured
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/12/06/fashion/06push.html
and the other is 'Hanging on for dear life' by Margo McCutcheon, a Canadian writer and teacher based in Kuala Lumpur. Which I'm going to type in its entirety coz I can't find it online. I don't own the copyrights, so don't sue me!!
Read them first, elsewise you won't know I'm talking about.
For the first article - do women really need shiny baubles, bling and acessories as such as their reward for carrying the baby, then delivering? I can't speak for the majority, but surely most of us women would consider the baby sufficient reward. What's more wonderful than bringing a new life into the world, knowing you were a part of it? Maybe for some, they think that "Since I've endured 9 months of *insert whatever woeful word you want*, I should at least get some reward as recognition and gratitude.
For me, since I'm not the materialistic type, I wouldn't be asking or even hinting my hubby to get something nice for me - I don't need it. As long as the baby is healthy, I couldn't be bothered if i don't get diamond earrings/rings etc .. emotional support is good enough. More importantly, he shows he cares by being there, waiting outside the delivery room. Imagine this scenario:
Doctor, nurses: Push!!
Woman: *screams in pain, baby comes wailing out*
Doctor: Grats, you've got a healthy boy/girl!
Husband: *rushes in and thrusts a pair of diamond earrings at his wife* Honey, look what I got for you - isn't it lovely?
Wife: *disheveled, tired and clearly in no state to respond* *bish*
As for the second - the article speaks for itself. I certainly don't care if I don't live in a condo, don't own the latest car, don't have the cushiest job possible just for the sake of being "in" with the rich/trendy snobs around. Who cares? I'd rather be off somewhere in rural areas doing volunteering work than being stuck in an office, meeting deadlines and answering to my boss, earning a high salary and living the high life.
There's something rewarding about volunteer work - despite the fact that yes, you're working with handicapped children and yes, you're not paid for it. But that warm fuzzy feeling you get when that child you're assigned to smiles at having done something correctly, like brushing his teeth in the right direction after several failed tries overrides all else.
So even if I can't get into a university, have a degree and a high-paying job, I know I'll be happy doing what I love most.

This is what happened:
Taken from sGE forums in Gen Disc
FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions (2.4 Manual Patch - get your download today!)
4. I have an archive named 80000(.zip) and 132 other files with the same name in my game directory, what do I do now?
Ans: NOTHING. You have successfully installed the patch to the proper location, it is now waiting for the servers to be updated at which point those files will be patched into the client. Do not extract the archive or modify it in any way or you will corrupt your client and be forced to completely reinstall.
See the part in bold? that's what happened to me. Poor innocent people who weren't told at the beginning to NOT unzip that blasted file kena GE client CORRUPTED. They only posted this warning yesterday. Knn.
Monday is still very far away. I'm aching to play .. and wanting very much to strangle IAH. Gonna go back forums and continue to blast IAH~

Muses for today
1) Potato wedges are good for stand-up lunches, especially when walking to IB tutorials. Grabbing a bite before class means no rumbling stomach when CRM ends.
2) Rainy days = freezing days. 80% chance of turning into snowpeople.
3) Seng is intimidating when he sits beside you and launches into grandfather story.
4) When gamers meet, all they can talk about .. is games, games and more games. As was the case when I went down to Woodlands to meet Luke today, a fellow GE player from Cervantes server. I'd posted in forums that I had successfully downloaded the 2.4 patch for the Bahia islands. So he pm-ed me asking if we could meet so I could pass to him. But, when transferring the 659mb file to his laptop .. everything hanged. Thrice. After 20 mins of trying, we gave up and then I accompanied him to Comics Connection at Causeway so he could reserve 2 'My Bellem Boxes' package for him and his friend.
Had trouble these days trying to re-install GE, because I downloaded some file which corrupted my game client =( So, I asked him if he could spare me the current 2.1.18 version client cd, and he said ok.
Problem was, my disk drive's driver was missing = cannot read any cds. But, he had an external hardrive. So we arranged to meet again on Monday where he would help me setup GE on my laptop. Whoopeedo ^_^
Meanwhile, I'll be catching up on work and waiting for blessed Monday to play GE again ^^

5 roasted duckies ..
Saturday, 11am saw me and Saihah waiting for the rest of the girls at AMK station. When they all arrived 35 mins later, we headed to AMK Hub's NTUC to buy snacks:
Then it was off to the interchange to take bus 13 for an hour long ride to East Coast Park. When we got down I had a helluva headache from all the jerky motions. Uggh. Then, having found a nice spot under a tree, we 5 girls squeezed together on the mat and took our time polishing off the snacks while enjoying the view. Saw quite a lot of people roller blading and cycling, sans dogs.
A while later Faizah and Clara went to try their hand at rollerblading .. lols, we had plenty of laughs while they were getting used to it. Got hungry, so we ordered the Atlantic (see left pic) and the Singapura Supreme pizza (on right) from Canadian Pizza:
5 plus pm, the guys at last arrived at ECP. It would be considerate of them to at least give some notice i) whether they were coming ii) how many were coming .. but ah well, nobody's perfect. We all went off to rent bicycles, rode to Bedok Jetty, and then a few rounds before going back. Us 5 ladies at Bedok Jetty .. wind was very strong.
After that we miled about for a while before taking bus 16 to City Hall MRT. The rest went for their steamboat dinner while Saihah and I headed home. Reached at 9pm plus, was starving already.
Gonna catch up with my work today .. nursing my aching legs .. now I'm officially sunburnt + aching legs = VAL the roasted ducky lols
